Scott Pilgrim vs A Horse

This was a comic that Ian and I put together during the summer of 2010, for a contest on DeviantART. He scripted it and I did the art. It was spawned entirely from a stupid in-joke, but it ended up being really popular.

Since all of the lines were (painstakingly) done in OC 1.1, the art’s a little bit dated now, but I still enjoy going back and re-reading it from time to time. It was a lot of fun to do, and I’m glad that a lot of people out there still enjoy it as well.

Characters (with the exception of Mullet Horse) belong to Bryan Lee O’Malley

If I were to create a list of my proudest artistic moments, I think “getting to draw Scott Pilgrim punching a horse in the face” would be at the top.
